REQUEST UNDER THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 Ref No: FOI2019/04748

I write in connection with your request for information received on 23rd July. I note you seek access to the following information:

• The number of religiously aggravated hate crimes and hate incidents recorded in Peterborough over the past five calendar years (ideally from 1st July 2014 to 31st June 2019)

• This information must be broken down into different categories of religious hate crimes directed towards these different faith groups: Hindus, Jews, Muslims, Sikhs and other

• This information must also be broken down into the different neighbourhood policing districts within Peterborough Therefore, for example, we should be able to know the number of religiously aggravated hate crimes directed towards Sikhs over the last five years in each neighbourhood policing district within Peterborough.

I am required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act) to handle all requests in a manner that is blind to the identity of the requestor. Any information released in response to a request is regarded as being published and therefore, in the public domain without caveat.
