I’m Eloise Bullock. I work here at Norman’s Dog Day Care.
I assist with day-to-day roles like feeding, walking, training.
On weekends, I volunteer my time as a Special Constable in Ely.
Working with people is one thing.
Come on!
But working with dogs, if you can manage to build up a relationship with the dog and train it and love it, it’s hugely rewarding.
And sit! Beautiful. Good boy. Well done!
Being a Special gets that variation of customer services and being able to work alongside people and with people.
Whereas here I get to work with animals so it’s a great contrast.
Paw? Yes, good boy. Well done!
The staff that have coached me through the training process, they’ve been fantastic.
If you make a mistake, it doesn’t matter. Everybody makes mistakes. There’s no right or wrong.
My confidence was a huge issue when I first started training but I’ve been able to speak to people and communicate better.
I fully enjoy just throwing myself in there and just getting involved the best way possible.
