Firearms dealer registration

A business in Cambridgeshire that manufactures, sells or transfers any type of firearm, shotgun or ammunition or anyone that repairs, tests or proofs this type of equipment must register with us.

To sell firearms or air weapons for trade or business, you must register as a firearms dealer. You will need to explain the nature of your business and show that you have an understanding of firearms legislation.

Application timescales

Please allow 12 weeks for your application to be processed. Always allow enough time for a renewal to be processed before your dealer license expires or becomes invalid.
