Could you volunteer?

Whilst on duty in their county and surrounding areas SPECIAL CONSTABLES enjoy the SAME powers as a Regular Police Officer.

Special Constables are 18 - 55 years old and complete a minimum of 200 hours service a year, that's four hours a week. In that four hours, you COULD change somebody's life.

So why not change your life and JOIN Cambridgeshire Special Constabulary?

Give something back to your community, support the Regular Officers who support and assist the public.

You will gather important life experience skills and have pride in what you do.

With the excellent training provided your confidence will grow and you will meet all challenges head on.

With your enthusiasm and effective communication skills, I suggest you find out more.

Due to the diverse nature of Cambridgeshire's communities, we actively encourage applications from minority groups, in particular if you speak a second language, we would be keen to talk to you more about how you can make a difference.
