A MAN convicted of causing death by dangerous driving has been jailed for three years.

Jonnie Reynolds, 49, of West Drive, Highfields, was found guilty of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving at a previous hearing.

He was sentenced today at Cambridge Crown Court where he was also disqualified from driving for four years.

Dr Jelena Obradovic and Dr Michael Corkill both died in the collision on the A14 on March 27 last year.

Sergeant Chris Huggins said “This case highlights the importance of remaining focused and concentrated while driving.

“A significant lapse in concentration in this case had tragic and fatal consequences.”
