A new national website has launched to provide more local information about crime and anti-social behaviour at a street level. The online mapping facility allows users to view figures for all crime as well as the following categories;

• Burglary
• Robbery
• Vehicle crime
• Other crime
• Anti-social behaviour

The maps display dots or snap points which mark the approximate location where a crime or incidence of anti-social behaviour has been reported to the police. To ensure privacy of individuals, incidents of crime or anti-social behaviour are mapped to a point on, or near, the street where it happened.
